The 2007 Passito is caramel honey in colour. Lusciousness exudes from the bottle, with nutty richness rather than oak coming through on the nose. The palate is everything the nose promises – a dense syrupy mouthfeel of pear saltanas that makes it a perfect choice at the end of a meal - with powerful cheeses, or as a dip for almond biscotti.

A wine that should age reasonably up to three years. But why wait?
