Picolit is a rare Italian variety, native to the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of north-east Italy, and very new to Australia. We are one of only two vineyards in Australia growing Picolit.

The wine is typically pale straw in colour. There are some lifted tropical aromas such as mango and pineapple as well as ripe peach. The palate has a lovely balance of acid and sweetness. The style is not a high viscosity, super-sweet, cloying wine. It is lighter in style, with a gentle sweetness and cleansing acidity. The wine will pick up palate weight with bottle age.
