Vermentino is a white wine grape variety found on Sardinia and the western coast of the mainland in the provinces of Tuscany and Liguria. It is also known as Rolle in the south of France and Corsica. The variety is generating excitement in both winemaker and consumer circles in Australia as a white wine grape capable of producing a wide range of wine styles and character.
Di Lusso Estate was the first wine producer in Australia to release a Vermentino varietal wine, from the 2004 vintage.
