Notes of peach, melon and hazelnut. The palate is dry and medium- bodied with light tannins, tropical fruit flavours and a long finish. Great with cheeses, salads or chicken.
Crisp, refreshing flavours of peach and almond kernel with a pear and citrus palate. Clean, fresh finish with notes of red apple. Great with apple salad, salt and pepper squid, or a bowl of creamy shellfish.
Fiano has a light texture – similar to Pinot Grigio, but slightly fuller with a more tropical nose. This southern Italian classic has a tropical palate, with a touch of macadamia. Fiano pairs well with an assortment of dishes including seafood, creamy cheese styles, vegetarian and pasta.
Aromas of pear, stone fruit and almonds. Despite its ripeness, the palate has food matching acidity, and the medium-bodied palate is long and clean with more than a hint of Vermentino’s classic saltiness. A good match for a wide range of dishes, from seafood risotto to Moroccan chicken.
Vino Rosato is our classic rosé, comprising about 85% Sangiovese.. Light and fresh, with a dry finish, the wine delivers lifted flavours of spicy cherry and strawberry. A great lunch time wine, to accompany a squid salad, red meats, vitello tonnato or one of our pizzas.
2018 Nebbiolo is a return to a more traditional style of di Lusso Nebbiolo. With the customary lightness of colour and rose petal and tar aromas, the wine is high in both acid and tannin, ideal for longevity. This wine can be enjoyed for up to 15 years, eventually yielding a velvety texture and gentle cigar flavours.
This is a wine to enjoy with porcini funghi - on a risotto or tagliatelli base, and matches goats cheese very well indeed.
Lagrein's flavour sits in the darker fruit spectrum. A very intense inky colour with aromatics of dark berry, chocolate and spice. A rich, quite fruited mouth-coating palate balanced by hints of aniseed. A wine that becomes rich and smooth with time. Reportedly genetically related to Shiraz, a good companion for beef or venison stew
Native to Sicily, Nero d’Avola is one of Italy's best-known and respected wines. Medium-bodied, its sweet tannins and peppery plumb flavours remind one of a gentle Shiraz. This wine will provide a good match for hearty beef and pork dishes.
Our newest red wine made from 100% Cannonau, a native variety of Sardinia. Attractive concentrated cherry fruit aromas the palate is medium-powered with soft tannin, and a touch of oak, rapidly growing in popularity, this is a wine with great versatility around food – from barbequed steak to cheese
Our version of this famous red blend "Super Tuscan" style from the Marrema sub-region of south-west Tuscany. The Cabernet Sauvignon component gives the wine its firm structure. Flavours of blackberry and blueberry are attributes of the Cabernet and Barbera, while its savoury touch comes compliments of the Sangiovese. Toasty French oak carries across the palate, with flavours of chocolate and spice. Match with just about any red meat or hard cheese.
