Vivace! in Italian is another word for lively. Our first-ever sparkling Barbera this wine has notes of strawberry and sour cherry synonymous with Barbera and the combination of its light tannins and high acidity produce its famed juicyness. This wine goes particularly well with salami, proscuito and a rich pizza with a varierty of savoury flavours
2020 Rosato is our classic Sangiovese Rose, light and fresh with a dry finish. A great lunch time wine.
Crisp and dry with a malty palate, made from Aleatico fruit. Lifted aromatics of zest, lychee and rosewater with light atringency and a lemongrass finish. Can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment with canapes.
2019 was a good year in Mudgee, a very hot and dry summer producing wines that were more fruit-driven and ‘Italian‘ than usual. Aromas of thyme and rosemary are followed by that typical ‘spicy cherry‘ palate. This is a wine that is a good match for roast lamb and vegetables as well as hard Italian cheeses. Enjoy now or up to ten years.
Plum & cherry with soft tannins and clean acid. Barrel aged for 6 months. Pair with dishes of duck, pork or rabbit.
