‘Sorbet in a glass!’ Fresh cherry flavours, with just a hint of frizzante to add a lively note to this delicious wine style.
A very rare variety from Friuli, full of fresh flowers and dried apricots. A companion with apple tart or soft French cheeses.
Aleatico shows a dark ruby red colour, with lifted Turkish delight and rose water flavours, faintly spiced with cinnamon. Carries a palate of medium weight and gentle sweetness.
Dopo Cena – “After Dinner” a gentle after dinner fortified muscat which offers flavours of rich raisin, chocolate and vanilla.. This vintage is flavoured with caramel and matured in oak casts for two years before bottling. A pleasant, warming nightcap with biscotti or Belgian chocolate.
Made from the juice of our Estate-grown Aleatico and barrel-fermented grappa. Late harvest flavours of apricot, marmalade and peach, and a spicy finish. Not as sweet as a dessert wine, Succo di Aleatico can be enjoyed with baked dessert or after dinner in place of a Muscat... or as a mixer - on ice, with di Lusso Estate Vivo! and lime.
Vin Santo is a cult wine of Tuscany, served to guests after dinner as a gesture of generosity and friendship. Our Appassimento is made from raisined Vermentino and Aleatico. Rich, dense and indulgent with flavours of raisin, apricot/marmalade, toffee and honey. Traditionally served in a glass with almond biscotti - dessert in a glass! Less than 300 bottles made.
