Vineyard and Harvest

Sangiovese tends to over-crop, so crop thinning is always required over the summer. The fruit was harvested in early March 2017. 


The fruit was crushed to open top fermenters and seeded with yeast. A short, cool ferment to preserve the primary fruit characters followed, with the wine finishing fermentation in tank. The wine remained in tank, with only a small portion going to barrel for ageing. 

Tasting Notes

Light, easy drinking style. Great when served cold in summer. Very similar style to our previous "Vino Rosso" range.
