A delicious, juicy red wine that I know as Cannonau, from Sardinia. But Wine Australia knows it by the name of Grenache? Attractive concentrated cherry fruit aromas the palate is medium-powered with soft tannin, and a touch of oak, This is a wine with great versatility around food – from barbequed steak to cheese.
Wine Making
This is a wine I bought from a winery in Sunrasia (Mildura). All we did was add a modicum of French Oak for three months before bottling. Worth growing at di Lusso Estate.
Analysis: pH 3.6, Residual sugar <1, Alcohol 13.8
