The Mudgee clone, with 15% Brunello clone and 10% Mat7 (added in 2020).
Winemaking
Usually picked at Bé mid 13s. After maceration, inoculated in tank, then transferred to barrel (new hogshead, older puncheon) for 9-12 months.
Tasting Notes
Flavours of spicy cherry, strawberry, rosemary and thyme and aromas of red brick, roasted pepper and oregano. The best lamb match ever. But also meat-based pizza.
Cellar for between 7 - 10 years.
